Short hunt yields silver

Researched a park that previously had an old school but is no longer standing, the park looks very modern. This park is hard to dig at because it has a lot of soccer and baseball going in the evenings and weekends. Went for a quick hunt this evening concentrating on the old walking path from the subdivision to the school. Found a 1926 Standing Liberty Quarter on my 5th target. Soccer team showed up for practice and had
to leave. Dug a clad nickel, zincoln, one pull tab, one piece of aluminum fence link.

Nice clear date on that SLQ :drool: Any park that turns up an old silver quarter on the 5th dig deserves some early morning hunts (or hunts in the rain) Hope you can get back there when the park is empty again.

Nicely done. Your research certainly paid off. In a park like that I'd try the out of the way places on the edges as well. Sometimes those spots crank out the best stuff.
