View Full Version : 1676 Reale, 1944 Mercury Dime and 1932-33 Black & Blue Detectives Iodent tooth paste
Two days and three good finds. I know the Reale is from Bolivia and made in 1676. I put it next to the Merc for size comparison. The Badge I found on the same day in the yard of a house built in 1924. I found a similar badge on Ebay and found out what it is on Google. I posted three pics of the same two items to try make a clearer picture and tried black and white backgrounds. Two shots of Heads, one of Tails.
Oh, and the Reale is a Pitosi.

Welcome to the 1600's club :clapping: Nice looking silver  The badge is kind of neat too. Don't see a place on it where a pin might attach, so I guess you just pull it out of your pocket when you want to pull somebody over
thats my mate right there !!!! lol.
congrats mate on the 1600s spanish silver , im glad i was there to see you dig it up after 338 years......wow what a find and it looks great on the banner.

The pin on the badge did not survive the ground. The Reale, I found out, is called a "cobb" Any more information is appreciated. Thank you for the input so far. So far it has been one cobb a year. Not very pretty but historical so that makes it fun for sure.

Not pretty? Sounds like you are less than ecstatic. I'd be happy to get something that old.

Great finds, and 268 years apart on those two silvers. Now that's quite the range.
