Got an invite to hunt with Rick and his son yesterday at a local park. Finds were hard to come by but was able to dig up some interesting relics. Didn't take any photos. I did find 14 plastic case shotgun shells, 11 older paper case shells, and 7 .38 cal casings, 3 still not fired in one spill. One of the older head stamps ironically said canuck Canada 12 gauge, have never seen one of them before and funny because my family history comes from Canada. The only coin I found in 6 hours of hunting was a Lincoln memorial 6 inches down. LOL :hystericallaugh:
My best find of the day was a fully intact silver plated fork made by Wm. A Rogers circa 1905 and an old shoe sole.
But the find of the day was found by Rick within a hour of the start of the hunt. I think he will post it when he gets the chance. I do want to thank Rick for his invite and hope to have many more in the near future.
Safe & HH
