Just came in from the back yard when i seen this out of the corner of my eye. The rain uncovered it lat night. Didn't even swing a coil to find it. It reads 1934 Central City Passenger License 111. What did it go on?37828

It looks exactly like a car license I found a couple years ago. It was attached at the corners and went somewhere on the car." I'm not sure if it is like a license plate or a drivers license though.

Thanks! I wasn't sure which it was. Must have been like a license plate if it was attached to a vehicle.

I couldn't find anything on it at all  Nice tag though.

Thanks. I found a chauffeur license that was almost identical from Louisville, KY. I guess it's actually like a driver's license.

Nice find. If I remember correctly(read it somewhere) back in the day a persons drivers license was attached to the vehicle and if they were to drive another vehicle they had to remove it and put it on which ever vehicle they were driving. Now remember I'm old so the memory......

That might be some sort of an exterior tag for showing the driver has a Chauffeur's license. :thinkingabout:
