I found 10 rings in 2 days here! Silver, gold, tungsten, stainless, Nazi coins...silver bracelets and medallions...TONS OF EUROS! :yahoo:
This place is unbelievable! I can't wait to go back this weekend because I've only hunted about 10% of this site!

Wow, that is very impressive. I doubt I could walk away. Would make that my full time "job". May even figure out a way to hunt at night!

Wow!!! I didn't check out the link, but let me guess, a sledding hill? I have hunted many, hoping for rings that slipped off cold shrunken fingers when people removed their gloves...

Nope! It's a public swim park.

Wow all that and only 10% detected. Keep up the finds and keep us posted. You found more rings there than I get in a year.

The Schwimmbad. If I remember correctly they have large areas for people to lay out at the outdoor pools. Those would be an excellent place to hunt. Congrats on some great finds and a great place to hunt.

Hey Craig enjoyed your video. When I saw your avatar i thought about a find I had several months ago. An old friend of mine asked me to come over and detect his parents house before they sold it. I spent several weekends there and got to enjoy all the stories about the finds I had. I did let them keep everything I found. The reason I'm writing you was because of one item they could not explain how it got there. I tried to send a private message but it wouldn't allow me to attach the picture.
I started detecting in May of last year and I would have to say that this was the greatest find of the year for me. I am sad to in the fact that I could not keep it. :( I also want to thank you for your service, take care and be safe. It is silver and not damaged in any way and most surprising is the entire pin is still there, like new. Thanks again safe & HH

That's a beautiful silver silver parachutist badge! They don't make them like that anymore. I still have my first set of wings and they too are silver. Awesome find!
Wow! What a haul! Congrats:thumbsup02:

One thing I wanted to mention Craig, was that when you are out in the muck in the lake, you may want to dig all signals that are not iron, especially the ones that are close to pull tab and foil readings. On land it would use up a lot of valuable time and probably produce tabs and foil, but in the water it should produce more gold rings. I'm thinking that the amount of tabs and foil in the water would be slim compared to dry land. A majority of the gold rings come up as pull tabs and foil. Just a thought.
That is some very good advice there Coinnut.;)

Thanks George that's good advice. I might finally try an old lake bed in a city park... I've been avoiding it because it's now a (grassy) baseball field  But I'll save that for winter when people won't watch and snarl, thinking I'm creating holes for kids to trip in
Congrats again for all those rings ODA :thumbsup02:
