http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/mobile/MEDpilgrimage.htm find one year ago a bronze shell in the mud.
the mud was from an old river.
i posted de shell on different sites bud nobody could say what it is.
yesterday i had a appointment with the archaeologist to record some finds of me.
i decided to take the shell with me to see if he knows what it is.

He saw the shell and say's wow!!!! Verry nice find.
it's a pelgrimage buckle arround 1450, sint jacobs shell
Shows mee some similar buckles in his book and indeed a buckle 15e century yesssss.
:yahoo:
the lack of oxygen in the mud the buckle was in perfect condition.
