First gold of 2014

Last year was the least productive for me ever .My silver , gold and even clad finds were well below half from the year before.This year I hope that If I don't find much at least it's cool or something on my bucket list . Just getting out and hunting keeps me going though .Last night I hit a wood chip lot for an hour and a half . At one time this lot was good for at least a couple of bucks in clad , things have changed .Once in a while a nice little piece of Jewelry will still show up though .last night's big score was a small gold earring with what could be small diamond chips .In the pictures is every target I dug .It was a lot of fun swinging the lightweight Vaquero with a small coil .Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures , my HP has stopped accepting any pictures from my Canon so I had to go back to an older camera without Macro .

That wasn't a bad hunt at all! The clad may be down, but the kids still lose the jewelry :lol: Nice to see your first gold strike of the year!!
