Hey diggers,
It's supposed to be cold and snowy this week. I'm going stir-crazy. I thought I'd share my favorite coin from my collection. A 1785 Tallero, Italian States, Venice. 40mm across and 28.5 grams silver. I just love these huge coins! Thanks for looking. Too bad we don't live in Europe where they dig these up occasionally! HH, Dave .

That is one monster coin. :shocked04: Lucky it survived and wasn't melted as scrap. Great looking coin.

That is a really nice coin. I wonder what kind of vdi numbers and tones in your head you would get locating one of those. No that's what I call roundness in the hole. Wow!
