Today was my last hunt of the year. Lucky to get this one in too....as the snow melted in a hurry.
I found a hole that is on the main road. This hole has been filled in and a bit over grown. I followed an old road behind this hole to another one with center chimney.
The draped bust (EDIT-capped) is a 1796
The token says B and Z 10cents
The buckle just has a date on it... 1854
I don't know what that pipe looking thing with two hangers is. :dontknow:
Thanks for looking!
wow Drew sweet liberty cap :loveit: the item in the second to last picture is a musket ramrod guide. congrats on getting out and great ending to the year my friend .
i'm gonna try and get out tomorrow.

 I wish Don, but I'm going away Christmas night. My last chance is tomorrow and I still have shopping to do
Thanks for the info Dan. I'll take that ram rod out of my pile and put it in my slightly better pile  We'll get out after the new year...with any luck. EDIT- I just looked up ram rod guide..that's exactly what it is....how the heck do you know these things??:clapping::notworthy:

sweet hunt! lib caps are tough.i only have 2.ram rod pipes are always nice to add to a display case.they make shorter versions too so keep an eye out.i think they were made for pistols, they would be like 2 inches long with a one pin holed tab.merry christmas!

Great way to end the year in style Drew with some nice digs. Yep, those Liberty Caps don't grow on trees. Nice score for sure. That ramrod holder is also a sweet find.:congrats:

Thank you everyone....no Tony I haven't checked the variety as yet. When I posted it I thought it to be a draped....that's how observant/ informed I am :rolleyes:
I wish you all the best this season.

Drew, that 1796 Liberty Cap large cent is a true thing of beauty. :smitten:
Very fortunate that it has a nice clear date on it too. In fact, the date is about the sharpest feature on the obverse.
Congrats on the incredible hunt! :notworthy:
