where Todd dug his Mass 2nd Regt button I dug one of my 3 pewters only a few feet from his.while 2 were designed civilian pewters,this one looked so far gone I just sealed it and plopped it up on the shelf.today doing a little organizing I took a look at it again..now i don't know if my eyes are playing tricks on me or what but,I swear i see a faint 2.
what do you guys think?
I also won a great book on a facebook radio show.

I see "Dead People"..... :cheesysmile: well actually it does look a bit like a 2 hard to tell for sure, rub some dirt on it might give it some definition.

Dave when you look at the two buttons side by side the two 2's ( if yours was indeed a 2) don't look the same to me . Todd's 2 has a very closed top while yours looks more open also the mid section and length of the "tail" is a bit off compared to Todd's . I think its something other than a 2 on your button perhaps just a design as George said.
