5 Bucks and no silver

Got out again tonight and had an eerily similar hunt to two nights ago except no silver this time. Again all my usual spots were filled with baseball and soccer teams, so I wound up at a small local park that I've never really hunted. I did alright with clad - 54 coins worth $5.88. Once again not many nickels which is odd because I was digging it all.

That is a good amount of clad, and you do dig up a good number of quarters.

I'm facing the same out here as far as activity in the park fields - soccer and baseball games most of the times, not to mention the annoying ATV drivers. It wasn't too bad today late in the day though.

Sometimes you just don't get the silver. I wonder if someone had cherry picked the silver readings and all the nickel readings trying to find the gold? :confused: But 5 bucks is 5 bucks!! I'd take it lol
