Hello fellow detectorists!!
Ken here from Michigan. Looks like a nice site here!
I've been detecting for about a year, use a Garrett GTI 1500 (which I love), also have Garrett Ace 150 and a ProPointer....
I look forward to talking with you all. Good luck and happy hunting!!

Dan,
I am still hunting for my first silver coin... and I will try to post some pics of some of my finds soon.
Ive found alot of Wheat pennies, a 1935 Buffalo Nickel, a 1971 Spanish Nickel just to name some. But ive got to find some older places to hunt. :detecting:

Kenny, Welcome to the group. I have been wondering about how easy it might be to get permission to hunt some of those abandoned homes in Detroit. You ever try it? Your first silver will come soon. I remember my first silver was younger than I am lol :waving:

Welcome from Kentucky! My husband travels up there to Ann Arbor for business often and we vacation there as well :)
We usually go to Holiday Inn Water Park & Cabela's in Flint, MI and Sleeping Bear Dunes is wonderful... wish it were closer though
You found a great place, I know I'm a bit late on the welcome!
