I had a great hunt this morning, I got to the woods around 8AM, it was 35 degrees but I was dressed for it. I'm sure glad that I got an urge to hit this woods again, I got a couple nice silvers, wheats, clad and odds and ends. I found the silver GW first right at the peak of a hill that appeared to be and old path by the looks of it. When I found the walker I also found 3 wheats right in the hole with it (a good sized hole at that). The wheats that I got are two 1920's, 1941, 42 and 55D

Congrats on the great silver hunt :clapping: I'm not sure if I ever saw a '47 W/L half :thinkingabout: Do you remember the dates of the 3 wheats that were with the half? I always like to see the range in years on a pocket spill.

Wow, now that's a terrific hunt! |:cheering:
That Walking Liberty Half is gorgeous! You don't see 1947 Walkers too often, they were minted in lower numbers than previous years. That one is a beauty!
Hunting the woods really paid off nicely for you!
:congrats:

the wheats had a stubborn layer of dirt on them, I tried to see dates on them but couldn't.
