Went on two searches yesterday and today and the first search resulted in a Gold Ring (I think). I do not find many rings and I never found a 18KT but the name of the Ring has me thinking fools gold. The ring name is Karatclad and after the 18kt it has 3 letters HGE. Could be owners initials or an indication of some sort of gold filled. Anybody have any thoughts. The two hunts also produced 6 silver dimes (3 Merc's and 3 Rosies along with several Wheaties. If you think my ring is gold filled please LMK. Thx Wisconsin Digger

I'm pretty sure HGE means Heavy Gold Electroplate. So, like it sounds it's some type of metal electroplated with gold.
