These kind of hunts are fun :smitten: 1.5 mile hike just to get the blood running then dig dig dig until hunger sets in. I thought I had three coppers as the cut thing sounded and looks like a copper.
I haven't cleaned anything, just ran water on stuff.
I've never seen rows of trees like these in our woods. They look on the young side too.
Thank you for looking :waving:
very sweet hunt Drew , early site and those coppers held up very well too. :clapping: :clapping: you have to clean up them military cufflinks i bet their loaded with gilt.

:wow: That is a sharp hibernia :congrats: I am guessing the thing with the dog motif is a watch winder...whatever it is it is pretty cool. Great hunt :perfect10:

Thanks everyone. You know Lodge....I didn't look at that thing closely as I thought it was a horse until you mentioned dog lol I agree that it is some kind of winder.
I agree the watch winder looks like it has a hunting scene on it with the dog flushing out a pheasant or partridge , its a nice piece Drew . that Wood's hibernia has great detail and dropped almost new , you've got a nice older site there . |:cheering:

Wow, look at the detail on that Hibernia! :loveit:
Almost 300 years old! Do you detectorists in New England realize how fortunate you are to be able to find coins and relics that old? I am so jealous! :envious:
Congrats on the incredible coins and relics, Drew! |:cheering:

Yes, on one side a deer jumping and on the other a man on horseback...at first I thought it might be a John Deere part lol

Once again, Congart's Drew !
I just want to say that I was reading about the Hibernia Coppers and didn't realize that besides the fact that they were made between 1722 - 1724, that there are multiple Varieties.
Here's a Great Link for these Coins and other Coins that circulated in the Colonies .
