Thanks for the welcomes everyone. Pulltabsteve, I will send you my phone number ASAP.
I just bought a Bounty Hunter QD II. That fit the budget for now. If I see that this is something that I want to do permanently I will upgrade.
I did a little practicing in my yard and found a couple of pennies from the early 60's & 70's but I can really use some guidance on tuning it, etc.
