4 COPPER DAY *2 FUGIOS'S ,CT & LARGE CENT & QUITE A FEW BUTTONS

Got out with Todd today we wanted to get to a single site that we found awhile back.
Got to the site about 8 am.a few buttons here n there then i got a nice Connecticut copper 1787 or 88 not quite sure.dates gone. then i got a 1840 braided hair LC. a old horse pommel.

Todd called me on the cell phone and says Dave I walked down the trail theres another hole down here.grabbed both our bags & shot down to him.buttons started poppin everywhere away from the foundation.then i got 2 Fugio cents,a broken ornate shoe buckle piece and 2 ox knobs (hate them things)Todd did well too as he equaled my copper take for the day.somebody hit these sites but just around the foundations.they didn't fan out away from the holes \:hammer: big mistake on their part :grin:

:wow: now thats a hunt to remember this year :perfect10: welcome to the multiple fugio club my friend , 2 fugios in one hunt ties Angel's record i believe keep that up and your bound to catch me in total fugios real soon . :yes: i'll try to find the varieties to them and the sweet looking Connecticut. great site to be coughing up all them early coppers.

Update

the Connecticut is a Miller 3.1-L. 1785 with a URS-8 rating (65-124 known coins)
the first Fugio looks like it could be a Newman 18-U. with a URS-9 rating (128-249 known coins)
the second Fugio is very hard to make out Dave but does have the dropped O in fugio which could make it another 18 variety as well as types , 16, 17, 19 or 20.

Sweet Digs! I've only gotten a few ox knobs but I have to say I loved digging them because it let me pretend for a few seconds that I have a hope of digging some of the same amazing stuff as you! lol Congrats on a great hunt, and awesome pics as always.
