Treasure almost found

here's the picture....I had just dug a KG and this lawn has given me 6 colonial coppers this summer. I get a low tone and very deep. I dig down about 8 and clean out the hole and can see gold nerled edge sticking up at the bottom of the hole. It's coin sized and all I can see is part of the edge. I start talking to myself. Oh my god oh my god.
Then the big let down. Look at this thing and tell me you wouldn't have been fooled too.

Todd that reminds me of them metal gold knobs off of those huge floor console T.V.'s that were so popular in the early 70's lol lol yeah that had to of got the ol heart pumping a bit faster. :yes:

Why didn't it corrode :hairpulling: lol Yep, had that gold in the hole happen to me too. When I do (rarely) find real gold, I never believe it 8/
