17 inch coil

Hi Guys,
Can someone please tell me how deep the 17 inch coil goes on the ctx3030 on a dime buried in dry beach sand. And also wet sand. Has it got much more depth than the e-track with the 11 inch coil.

My experience with the large coil gives me about 1-2 inches more depth compared to the stock coil on the CTX. Its my opinion that the Etrac and the CTX have the same depth capabilities with the stock coils. You will loose some separation ability with the large coil so it is not ideal in trashy areas. The biggest advantage is the ground cover.
