so me and chrisinct decided to hunt on monday as the day was mild , the day before i had found a cellar hole that looked like it had not been hit to much , i only had 1 IH penny but thought i would take him there.
after about an hour i had nothing but chris had some awsome finds including the glass mason jar that was sticking out of the ground with a patern date of 1858 on it (ill leave him to post pics on this thread of his other finds).
i decided to take him to a house i have hunted before , built in 1694 and the house of the first minister of glastonbury.
the lady that owns it was married to a brit so she loves me to bits :uk:usaflag:: .
soon as she saw me she shouted ill put the kettle on and a nice cup o tea was soon being gluged down.
chris got his first signal within 2 mins and i heared his familiar call of ut oh it turned out to be a 1875 seated which we had a look at before i heared another ut oh from the same hole , this turns out to be a 1890 seated so chris was off to a flier !!!!!!.
then i start to hit buttons then another and another then an indian then some jewlery then a spoon all in all a great day.
del, the large button , could it be from the 1600S ? i ask this coz i would like to try and tie it to the first owner in some way so i can give it to the owner of the house.
