I ventured out in the 90 degree heat to a new site and was hoping for some 19th Century coinage. I managed to find one single coin during my 3hr hunt. It turned out to be a worn 1920S WLH on the edge of a field adjacent to a 1850-1960's farm home site.
Well if you are only going to find one coin that sure as heck is not a bad one to find! Congrats on the big silver! I've dug a bunch of those old metal tube tops this year... one still had the remains of toothpaste in it!
