Today I had an earlier start at the park as I wanted to avoid the crowd, ATV's, and motorcycles I faced yesterday. :bangahead02: I still left the park earlier than planned since the area was a mob scene by about 2:00 and the guys with their ATV's were running wild! :shocked02: Anyway, I did pick up several silver coins before packing it in.

This was my first silver of the day, a 1909-D Barber dime - 954,000 minted.

The second silver coin ended up being 1940 Washington quarter.

The last coin I dug before leaving the park, a 1917 mercury dime.

Another five silver coins added to the pile.

The hunt would not be complete without a few wheat cents thrown in.

That's a nice $80..+ dime  Yes, summer sure seems like it's here, at least from the crowd standpoint. Now I know why the grounds crew doesn't bother you for digging holes. Maybe you can get the ATV'ers to dig out about 4 of dirt everywhere  Nice silver and them never ending wheats

$80 dimes are GREAT any day of the year. Congrats on a good condition rarity. Who cares about the other stuff you found  .

I need to start taking the camera out in the field again. Those dirt chunks with a silver edge hanging out really get my blood pumping. Nice finds and nice pictures!
