Me and Dave met up around noon today for some detecting at an old school yard/ball field. There weren't a ton of old coins at this site but we both came home with some keepers.
No Silverless Drive Home of Shame for either of us today! thumbsup01
My first keeper of the day was a silver Rosie near a big old oak tree. Then later after a few wheaties I had a beautiful 12-46 signal at 6 deep. When I flipped my plug over I could see the imprint of a dime in the bottom of the plug. Right there in the bottom of my hole was a Mercury Dime. Easy silver!
A little later I found a small sterling silver ring.

I ended the day with 8 wheat cents. They came out of the ground really crusty at this site.
It was a fun hunt and I'm glad that we both got some silver.
Here are my finds for the day:

And the keepers:

I had trouble getting a good photo of this, but I thinks it's a clapper out of an old bell. It has a neat design on it.

It was fun hunting with Dave, as always! Thanks for looking and happy hunting! :beerbuddy:
