I Googled it and it seems to be Masonic. The K.S.H.T.W.S.S.T. symbol on a headstone indicates that the person had completed the crytic degrees of the York Rite and was a Royal Arch Mason in the York Rite Degrees of Freemasonry. Whatever that means lol :dontknow: lol

Masonic pennies are still used to this day, though now they are mostly just a Masonic emblem stamped onto a regular penny. They are given for a variety of reasons. There are higher levels in the Masons other than &quot:beerbuddy:lue Lodge which just goes to the level of master mason. I'm sure you've seen things about people being a 32 degree mason....well they accomplish that through going through one of 2 other order of masons, York rite being one.

That is great find Lee! I found a 1941 Wheat penny with a masonic stamp on it once. I'd look closer around your home, there might be more coins!!!
