Field Hunt.. Older Copper!

I had the bug to get out and hunt bad!! So I hooked up with one of my hunting buddy's
And we went to a old school and home site that is nothing but a corn field now..
We got about 2 1/2 hours of hunting in.. I did get two keepers this 1880 I.H. And this 1819 LC...

That 1819 Large Cent is an awesome find! :wow:

It looks to be the large date variety.

Man, I would give anything to be able to find coins that old!

I was surprised... I got a date off the large cent .. But with a little elbow grease there it was...

Great finds, love the LC. Most of the LC's that I have found in corn fields are toasted.
