Been metal detecting since August of 2009. thumbsup01 I have been searching for that one virgin site. :daydream:
I think I found it in Wisconsin. :smitten: An old ball park turned to farm field in the mid 1940's.
The gal I received permission from said they bought the property in 1968 and confirmed
there has never been any metal detectorist here since the time they have owned the land.
Receiving her call last Thursday (04.25.13) morning... I immediately blew of work to check it out.
Shortly after turning on my machine, I had three locals and one town museum founder to talk with.
After chatting with everyone, I had just over an hour and a half to find these keepers. Nothing newer than 1941. :happydance01:
I was digging something every couple of minutes.

Wheat cents are toasted but the silvers and buffaloes came up better.
Ron and I are very excited to get back to this site.
Before the hunt above, I snuck out for a one hour, one wheat, one silver outing at my 'go to park' on April 21st.
