Went to a cornfield today that once had a old school house on it , walked in and 1st find was a 1898 indian head laying on the ground , boy i thought this is going to be a good spot , after 2 hours no other finds , it will be plowed up again soon so maybe something else will pop up, then went to another field , same owner , where a old house was , 1st find an old wheat , and nothing else ,. maybe next time

Dave, don't get discouraged. For almost 2 years I hunted a cornfield. Sometimes I got nothing worthwhile, and then other times I was plucking seated. I eventually ended with 7 seated out of that field. I love cornfields.
:congrats: on your IH and wheat.
Sometimes their good...sometimes there bad...like any other spots
As a famous person here on the forum has said, sometimes you get the corn, sometimes you get the cob. lol You hang in there. There are good things in that corn field. If you dig it, it will come. :hysterical:

Congrats on the IH Dave. These two fields sound like they could hold some keepers. Keep at it. thumbsup01
