Well i detected a super old property 1860s historical society house and the nice lady let me go at it!She sayed leave your plugs extremely small so i did!Well i found a clad pocket spill of late 60s quarters and YES my very first buffalo nickle! And a radiator cap from a old model t car i beleive. The lady sayed it was the very first house in this town! And i pictured myself back in the mid 1800s with horses and buggies and it felt nastalgic! For illinois this was as old as you can get!I envy you east coasters because this historic stuff is great! The lady was really nice she sayed she let somebody detect back in the late 70s but after they ruined the grass after 10 minutes of detecting she kicked them out and she never allowed detecting ever since.I think im going to use my new t2 today i got in the mail yesterday and use the hockey puck coil it will make her happy! And hopefully i can finally get a capped coin...I have no doubt this property will produce to the fullest extent!!!

Congrats on the first buffalo. Now it's time to find that seated coin that's hiding there. Good luck, sounds like a great place to hunt.

I like my T2, but I've never swung any other machine in its class. Sounds like you got a nice site there. Any pics of that buff?
