:omg: i already have one![attach=1] It's my first detector. My wife and i got it at Dunhams in the upper penninsula so we could hunt for copper.
Here's a picture of some of the copper we found. The one is about the size of a baseball.

I have one too, an Ultra Mag Sharp Shooter. My parents got it for me for Christmas in 2007. (Bless their hearts.) It's what sparked my interest in metal detecting again after a long break from the hobby.

Yours looks better than mine. I loan this out to people that lost something that wasn't very valuable. Or who want to try their hand at detecting.

Hunting for copper sorry for sounding uneducated but you hunt for raw copper i never knew there was a place in the us you could do this!I save all my copper pipes for melt but raw copper im impressed!You taught me something today!

Ive never read about that.Ive heard about raw copper being miles below the surface!Thanks for enlightening me! :yes:
