My wife and I went to one of her friends for a visit today. I put my detector in the trunk as this lady lives in an old area....and I thought, maybe, the conversation would turn to MDing.
Well, not only do we discuss MDing but her husband brings out HIS metal detector and says he's tried it a couple times. Soon we were detecting the few open paths in the woods behind the house. We actually covered all the swingable places in an hour. I dug a wiped copper and my first trime. I tried to give it to them but they wouldn't take it. He dug some bullets :-\ but started learning his machine.
I didn't know trimes were so small!! I guess the smallest coin the US has ever produced. ::huh::
Thanks, Drew

Amazing! That is a beauty of a coin. I got my first trime last season but it was worn and holed and no where near as pretty as yours! Congrats on one heck of a find!

Thank you everyone, hey All, as you know, that coin is soooo freakin small that it was in the plug. My machine said it was 7.5in but it was only about 5.

Funny how that seems to happen often. You wait and wait to you find one then another one pops up soon after.
Congrats.

Ill get mine before Christmas. I'm determined.
