4-21 Hunt

Yesterday i saw a guy detecting around our local park so i stopped to ask how he was doing. He told me he got a barber dime and a standing quarter so far. Well, i figured if anyone was gonna get silver in MY town it was gonna be me! So today i hit the same park he hit and i came out with a couple silvers. A 1940-d merc and a 1950-D rosie. The first coin i found was a shiney new shield penny on the surface the next find was the rosie. The sad part was that i was following the other guys digs and i kept finding the pulltab or screw cap or beaver tail left on the ground near the holes he dug. He filled the holes alright but left the trash for me. \:hammer:
