Here are my finds from my last few hunts, between the rain fall. I now know what it is like to live in Seattle, anyway. I just love seeing that big silver come out of the ground, a 53 Franklin. I also got silver 6 for the year a 50-D Rosie, six wheats and these cool relics. I'm pretty sure the ball is a lead musket ball which is very unusual for WI. The buckle is just a plain face with no markings.

Ted found one Tuesday while we were out. His was a Walker..... but any ways :shocked04:verreaction:

Now a Franklin half is the only type of hlf dollar I've yet to find. :envious: :hairpulling: lol Well.... other than a Capped bust and earlier. lol

Jeff, nice looking Franklin 1/2. That coin is also on my hit list. :congrats: on getting one. Is that a crotal bell in the last picture? Don;t worry about a little rain, the CTX is waterproof.

Yes it is a crotal bell and it still rings. It is nice knowing the detector can handle the rain.
The Franklins are an elusive find, I think it is only my 4th. In 36 years of hunting.

WTG with the silver Jeff. One of our guys took out another Barber Dime (1897) and a 1947 Rosie from Irvine Park.
saaaaweeeeet Franklin , Jeff :smitten: your right they're not a common coin to find especially a sharp looking example like that . the relic are a bit on the older side , i bet that toe tap has a patent date on it.

Congrats! Really nice! Silver half dollars always are a thrill. I believe I have a copper buckle that looks like the one you found.
