A heapin' helpin' of GW quarters...

After a morning and afternoon of rainy weather, it finally cleared up, so I decided to go on a late afternoon hunt. After a short while I got a strong coin hit on my Fisher f2. You can imagine my surprise when I dug the target and found 32 Washington quarters IN THE SAME HOLE!!! I've never found a spill like that in my life. Someone must have dropped a roll of quarters and I managed to find the lion's share of them. The photo shows the contents of the find on the left. The other quarter and five pennies were found elsewhere the same day. All clad, but still an amazing discovery for me. My tumbler is working overtime cleaning them up right now...

That sure is a heck of a spill. Too bad they are not silver... :hairpulling:. Well at least its $8.00 in clad from one hole, that has to be a record. :congrats:

Holy quarters!!! Thats a lot of them :wow:. I found a pile of newer nickels that way in a park where they held the yearly carnival, but i think it was only like 15 or so. Grats and HH.
