Finally! My season has begun

I'm back from vacation and the ground is finally thawed out here in SE WI so I managed get in my first hunt of 2013. It would not be right if I did not start the year off with a trip to my infamous grove. I hit a wooded area that I had not covered much and was rewarded quickly with my first silver of the year a 1904 Barber quarter. My next find was my first pocket spill for the new season and it was a nice one a 17 Merc, 04 Barber dime and a 16 wheat. I topped the hunt off with another silver quarter a 42 Washington. I'm very pleased with the start of my season and hope this is a sign of what is to come. The CTX preformed perfect and picked up right where it left off. It felt great to be swinging again. :congrats: That's the way to start the season. I was out with Marty and he got a nice coin spill on Sunday at Irvine Park. He was hunting with his Eagle Spectrum and I had my DFX.

Awesome way to start your season. I am starting mine today in southcentral wisconsin at an old farmsted, and can only hope to have as good a finds as you!
