Today I made a return trip to the same location where I detected yesterday. I managed to find three silver coins, one of them a nice looking 1942 Walking Liberty half dollar. I also dug up the usual clad, several wheat cents, and a sterling silver pendant.
This Walking Liberty half makes my 260th silver coin of the year. It is also the 5th silver half dollar I have picked up this year.

The 1949 Roosevelt dime while still embedded in soil.

These finds alone would have made my day.

It's too bad the face of this pendant broke off. It is about the size of a nickel.

This plastic toy paratrooper was in the same hole as one of the wheat cents I dug up. It brought back some fun memories.
