The bad news please let me guess its not a baby head, the good news it's worth $.50
your right the bad news is its not a babyhead Vermont copper :shocked04:verreaction: but the good news is you broke into the 1600's with this coin <: the picture is a bit blurry but its definately the bust of King William (1696 to about 1702) but if the coin has two busts on the from it might also be a William and Mary (1689 to 1696). heres the two different obverses of the coins in question.

Awesome thanks Del. The back is worn flat. I can't make anything out.
Far as I can tell it is the single bust.
So is it a half penny ?
looking at the ribbon on your coin it looks more like the William coin ( the first image i posted) , they are a bit tricky to id the actual year with out the back details . i would love to see a better picture of it as coins from the 1600's are pretty uncommon to find , huge congrats Chris :clapping: :clapping:

I will ask Lee if I can take one with his camera . All I have are the ones I have on my I phone and I pad. Which is bad and worse.
I really need to invest in a good camera.
