Managed to get out today to a park I'd never hunted. Was modern park, and I was hoping to score some bling at the vball courts, but came up empty.
Park had an old house from the original land that had been converted to a maintenance building. Seemed like an obvious site that had probably been pounded to no end, but in about 2 hours of hunting, I did manage to score a shiny quarter right along the walkway, which seemed the most obvious spot to hunt. Not a single other coin near the house, so I imagine it has been pounded. Give the V3 credit on this one, as it heard the silver thru a pulltab, and I have to believe other coils have passed along that walkway before.
I don't get too many silvers, and it seems like forever since my last one, so it was exciting to see it in the hole.
