And it's a half dime . Got out to the farm today for a team hunt with Steve and Don, had a blast playing in the mud. Lots of flat buttons and also got a 1879 Indian. The half dime is 1839. Keep on Diggin' all :beerbuddy:

Awesome finds you made today Mike!! Had a great time hunting with you and steve. Does the half dime have a o mint mark on the back? All I found was 3 buttons and one 1900 dog tax tag It was that crumpled large flat thing we thought was a button. If i can get my camera working I'll post it.

:congrats: on finding that little silver in that big field :congrats:
It's worth the 20 lbs. of mud on your boots to get one isn't it?
Mine was in a corn field too but had a hole in it. I still like it!
:perfect10: Good job!!

Awesome coin. I found my first seated coin this last fall. An 1876 s dime. They are so cool arent they. A seated half dime would have been better but im not complaining. :wow:

Nice finds and congrats on the half dime, they are hard to come by.
:wow: Great looking seated!. For sure on my wish list. Don't think I'll ever find one down here though. It just amazes me how most of the seated coins come out of the ground looking soooooo good. Again, congrats your first and a great find. HH
