a V nickel! :shocked04: Only my third one so far. Cool! Got out today even though we were pounded by a snowstorm on Saturday. I was determined to get one more silver for my 2012 count but alas twas not to be. But I did manage to find a 1920 wheatie, a junk jewelry piece, and an 1893 V nickel. (Along with tons of garbage) That nickel made my day, especially with how difficult it was hunting in the snow. Thankfully it was light and fluffy so it was easy to swing through. Hope everyone had a great year and will have a great one to come! :groovy:

Definately a detectorist out with a purpose. Sorry the silver eluded you but very glad that you captured a V. How was the ground under the snow?
