View Full Version : December Clad
I got out for a few hours on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. I spent both hunts at a schoolyard where I first spent any time hunting in the dirt years ago with the BH Tracker. I've hunted this spot more than 60 times now, and it just keeps on giving. It's great for clad but that's about it. At the end of both hunts my knees were killing me. I pulled 217 coins worth $23.30 between the two hunts. Among them were one wheat, a presidential dollar, and a Kennedy half. Just about the only other interesting find was a deep token, which turned out to be a neat commemorative piece for GM's 50 millionth car back in 1944.
I've dug a total of 2,695 coins from this one school now. Amazingly, that makes it my second best site for total coins!
Anyway, figured I'd give everyone's eyes a rest from all the silver everyone else is posting! lol
Happy hunting!

Good on ya Z thumbsup01 I know what you mean about the knees. My last two weekends both got me over $69 in change, and not a wheatie or silver among them. :thinkingabout: Good hunting to ya thumbsup01

I hope my luck hasn't rubbed off on you. I wouldn't want to think that I was responsible for breaking your silver streak.
After digging all those targets, have you ever considered how much dirt you've moved around?
Happy hunting!

That is an awful lot of coins from one spot. By the way, these eyes never get tired of looking at silver. My knees would be sore to from that much digging.

A 1955 chevy on a 1944 coin would be proof of time travel. :hysterical:
That's alot of coins from one place. I got over 1,000 from our old junior high school. And only one small silver ring. :dontknow:
Keep up the digging as long as the knees can take it. :stretcher:
