CODY

Where to start! Left the house about noon. I had 49 silvers. One shy of my goal for the year. Well let me tell you guys. I will never forget my 50th silver coin of 2012. I have been swinging this coil for less than two years and have found not one, but two. I feel so fortunate. Started off at a small park. Found nothing. Then I went to an old fire house that they shut down about a year ago after building a new one. Fire house wasn't that old, built in the 60's. But, the church across the street from it had been there since the early 40's. So I thought what the heck. Found four wheats, a nice drawer pull. A 50 year anniversary Coca Cola key fob. This is the second one of these I have found. And a military pin. It has a 2 on it and a set of tracks. This is a pin from the 2nd Armored Div. No other than George S. Patton in command.

Still no silver. Sooooooo I go to another park. This park has been hunted probably since the invention of MD's. I didn't have much hope. Started swinging. Found a 1955 wheat. I thought, well thats a good sign. I walk about 6 feet and get a nice high pitch on the F75, showing a 92. I think OK a piece of junk. I swing the coil over it, it dosn't change 92,92. I start walking around it in a circle. 92, 92, 92. Never changes. So I dig. At about 3 to 4 inches I catch a glimpse of it and almost have a heart attack. The one time I forget to bring my camera. My phone is in my truck and I'm about 1/4 mile from my truck. Soooooo. I look around to make sure no one is watching, put the dirt back in the hole. I stick my digging tool in the ground beside it and head to the truck for my phone. I really want to get a picture while its still in the ground. I have no idea what it is yet. Just hoping no one finds my digging tool. Get back and took these pic's

A 1922 Peace dollar. Found my first silver dollar back in Feb., I think. A 1900 Morgan. And now this one. WOW two in one year. May not mean much to some, but let me tell you, I am one happy guy. Please excuse the lack of grammer, tooooooo excited. Thanks for looking! And HH to all.
