Hi all. Hunted a 1917 house today. Got a bunch of clad and three wheats. 1941, 1952-D and one that was toast. Also found the little sterling pendant. Think it is a tie thingy. I think someone has hunted this house before. Left there and went to the old stand-by. Found the 1944 Merc. and my first Alabama tax token. This makes 24 Silvers out of this one spot. It keeps giving them up one at a time. [attachimg=1][attachimg=2][attachimg=3][attachimg=4][attachimg=5][attachimg=6][attachimg=7]

Nice finds, Cody! I wonder if the silver item is half of a cufflink? I love the design on it.

:congrats:

I don't know Tony. I thought it was a tie thing to start with but have since changed my mind. No way to put it through a tie. Could it be the end of a watch chain? I dont know.

I was thinking it might be half of a cufflink similar to these:

That's a lot of silver from one spot! Any swinging area left?

Cody, I can see why you refer to the spot as old standby. :congrats: on another one for the jar. I'm thinking that the sterling item is half of a cufflink, nice find. Any idea on the age of the token?

I think you guys are right about the cufflink. The tax tokens I think were used in the 30's and 40's.

:shocked04: 24 silvers definitely qualifies the site as a honey hole. <:

Congrats on the latest shiny recoveries Cody. :clapping:
