Got out with Sniffy to a few new cellar holes.1st site I nabbed a 1842 braided hair LC. my day was complete with this find as I broke last year record of 80 3/4's coppers making it 81.
wasn't too much at this site so we headed to the 2nd cellar hole.sniffy struck 1st with a nice 1803 draped bust LC.then i got a wiped out copper a few buttons.one being a civil war general service button with a scovill's backmark.then i got my 3rd copper a 1812 classic head LC.
was a nice day out.started spittin snow flurries towards the end of the hunt.I said to myself after last year no way I will even come close to 80 3/4's large copper coins ? just goes to show ya everything & anythings possible in this hobby.what a year!

thanks Tony! boggles me too how these guys lost so many coins, and imagine being the 1st detectorist to start cellar hole hunting back in the day? imagine the coins they pulled out of these sites.we are going to already hit sites.I can only imagine and drool what they have in their collections
