Hey diggers,

I was able to hunt 2 old houses. I got lucky and got a yes at the first two houses I approached. Both houses are early 1900s. I managed a few nice keepers and some modern clad coins too. A couple interesting relics too. One item is a first aid pin from the Illinois Mine Rescue Stations. I think the other item is a suspenders hook but what is cool is it has a lion with an arrow in it's back! Thanks for looking and HH, Dave.

Terrific variety of finds, Dave! Congrats on the old coins, especially the silvers and V Nickels! I'm glad the door knocking worked out for you. I hope the houses smelled better than that one in Oblong, IL. lol

I really like the suspender buckel, but that poor lion! :stretcher:

:congrats:

That lion looks alightly annoyed, what with the arrow sticking out of him. Nice going on getting the two houses to give permission and :congrats: on your keepers.

wow...a little of everything. I've also started asking permission....I've been able to stay one site ahead. The matron and V look to be in pretty good shape....how's the back of the V?
