Different dates and different sites, an assortment of some of my recent finds.
My 1st Flying Eagle, 185:dontknow:/b], the picture doesn't do it justice, it looks like it was dropped the day it was minted. Just the corrosion/patina didn't take very well.
[b]Colonial cuff link - I didn't realize how cool it was until I cleaned it and noticed the deer in the middle that was jumping over a log. Pretty neat!
I like the Pinkerton 2-piece button from the Pinkerton Detective Agency. Researching it was fun, as the Pinkerton agency was involved with the protection of Abraham Lincoln, and other key points in American history.

Anyone have an idea what the star shaped brass/copper disc may have been used/created for? Perhaps some sort of ribbon was attached to it and it was a medal. Based on the stamping, the text makes it look mid 1800's. Could it be military in origin?
Anyway, enjoy the pics.
