Here are some more finds from two stints at the sidewalk/street tearout project where I have been going regularly the past two weeks. Good thing is, they keep moving dirt around and exposing more targets. Also, as I dig out more and more trash I keep exposing yet more targets. These trashy curb strips are pretty typical in the inner city, just need to work my way through the trash. One thing I don't think that I mentioned, is that before they tore out the street this street had the original granite stones placed vertically in the ground for the curb. These granite curbs pre-date the paving of the streets. Actually there a lot of areas in the city that still have these. I will have to take some pictures of them sometime.
So here are some more finds: Buttons, 1865IH, Wheat Cents, 1906 Barber Dime, etc. Thanks for lookin'!
