All my finds today were mangled in some way. The Nova is punctured and almost wiped, the dandies are bent at right angles :dontknow:, flats are shank-less, but my first wooden Nickel looks great :grin: ....and the Nova is my 42nd copper on the year. :peace:
Spent four hours in a corn field with a 13 coil. Fought noise the whole time. I don't know why these corn fields are so loud, emi and fertilizer? I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

Very nice Drew......always nice to find something you hadn't found yet. Best part is there was enough to ID.........congrats on a great coin.

hey Drew great copper but i'm pretty sure its a landscape type Vermont copper similar to this .

:shocked03:. Thanks Dan! I don't remember seeing one of those before. I thought it was a nova because I remember the sun rays on the one George found with his pinpointer. :yes:

Drew , its a very easy mistake them two coins :yes: especially with what detail you have left showing . they are definately my favorite of the Vemont state coins and most are pretty rare too.

thats awesome! never dug a VT like that yet. I saw another rare VT vermontensium dug right in front of me.missed that puppy by like 5 feet >:{

Congrats on the old Vermont copper, Drew! What an incredible piece of history! I would have a heart attack if I ever found something that old!
