From the land of the Bluenose.....with all the rain that is fore casted for the weekend these two bouys thought that they would make the most of the good weather. So after a stop at the Golden Arch and a little flirtation with the staff and Hunny Bunny the two digaholics were on their way. Navy Davy's coffee cup had a happy face while mine was graced with X and ":daydream:'s. With Navy Davy at the helm and the gimp navigating to the dig spot we zipped down the 100 series provincial highway at a most pleasant pace.
After a mere 45 minute drive we were unloading the trunk of the weapons of mass detection while at the same time admiring the collage of radiant golds, yellows and greens that Mother Nature was showing off.
Navy Davy pulled out front in the race down the park's driveway as I limped behind wondering if some blood thirsty coyote pack was thinking of me as a main course. Lord love a duck with all the meds in me they would have keeled over and dropped of a heart attack or at the very least overdosed if they had tasted any of this bouys blood.
Anyway we dug and did the dew with ND being the more sensible of the two of us wearing rubbers. Man were my feet soaked, man was my brain toasted and man where were the coins?
Prayers were answered and a few came my way and at that time had no idea what ND had dug! Hit a solid 81 on the Pro and out popped a new ride followed shortly by another. Dinkie heaven.
Shortly thereafter I limped into ND who had that I found something cool grin. You know the one!
What youz git ND?
A first for me!
With that he displayed his 50 cent piece from 1976. Although not silver it is one halibut of a find as they really didn't get circulated too much.
With that the day was done wit ND scoffing 37 coins and a light dewy as well as his prize find!

As for the gimp a mere 17 or so coins , two rides and knife that I'll give to the surgeon that I'm seeing at the end of the month!
