Continued from WHAT A HUNT!!!
So as I stated, Monday I was unable to hit our new Hot Spot...so being a bit unfamiliar with the area, I went to my GPS and plugged in Parks near my location. Up came a park about a half mile from where I was. I drove there, the park didn't look to be too old, but the houses across the street looked to be from Mid-1800s. So I started off in the field in the park right across from the houses. On my second pass, I got a nice 12/46 signal that was deep, I was thinking and even hoping for a silver quarter....Out of the ground a really nice 1817 LC :loveit: :smitten:. I went around the rest of the park, only to find a few wheats and some clad. But the LC sure made my day!
