Had a great weekend hunting with friends! :peace: Was digging a penny up and saw the glimmer of gold under a leaf about a foot away. Lifted up the leaf and there laid a 25 inch 10K gold chain. I couldn't believe it. Then a while later at a different location I get a screaming 12-45 on my E-Trac at 8 inches so I start to dig. I was thinking silver dime but instead it was a 1919 sterling silver class ring! :omg: It has the letters MGS on top with the year 1919. I am thinking that must be the school name. Then I left that location and at the new site I hit a weak jumpy 12-44, 12-45, so I thought it was a penny. I flipped over the plug and saw the shimmer of silver. :clapping: A 1937-D Merc was on it's edge. That must account for the weak signal. Anyway it is silver coin #75 for 2012. :happydance01: Also got 45 clad coins for $2.06. I love this hobby. Happy hunting to all! :beerbuddy:
